OSHA has instituted the National Fall Prevention Stand-Down to raise awareness of preventing fall hazards in construction. Fatalities caused by falls from elevation accounted for 279 of the 806 construction fatalities recorded in 2012, and each of those deaths were preventable. Fall prevention safety standards were among the top 10 most frequently cited OSHA standards during fiscal year 2014 — workers need help understanding the seriousness of falls and practical steps on how to prevent them.
For the Stand-Down, during May 4-15, we’ll be conducting special on-site interactive talks that promote fall prevention. We’re doing these at no cost for our current clients, and at a reduced cost of $75 (regular price is $150) for any other company that would like to take advantage of the opportunity.
To get on the schedule, just give us a call at (864) 905-7835.
