Dave De Vita
David De Vita, Founder and President of CSC, is passionate about safety. He has dedicated his professional career to providing leading-edge training and consulting to organizations. His career in safety consulting and implementation spans more than twenty-five years, and includes strategic roles with many leading Southeastern general and specialty contractors, as well as time in the healthcare and recreation fields. He founded Carolina Safety Consultants after serving as a loss control and workplace safety consultant for such organizations as Continental Insurance, CNA Insurance, the Carolinas Association of General Contractors (CAGC), and Rosenfeld Einstein Insurance. Recent experience includes serving as Program Safety Manager for the Planning & Design Division for a major capital expansion program (oversaw 25 major projects) of the San Francisco International Airport. David’s personal involvement and experience is a hallmark of every CSC engagement. His focus is people. He believes that when management and employees both understand the culture of safety, they will be enthusiastic about compliance procedures, and performance will increase.

Aaron Nix is the COO of CSC. He provides proposals, leads special projects, and supports Mike Ellenburg. Aaron has been in the construction industry for 30 years and has experience in industrial, commercial, and educational construction, in all aspects of construction and construction management. Aaron has 14 years experience in life safety systems, fire alarm, access control, security, and cctv and is a licensed electrician, NICET certified, and certified generator technician.
Diane has been with Carolina Safety Consultants since 2016, overseeing the administrative functions as
Office Manager. She comes with a wealth of over twenty five year’s experience in administrative
management, fundraising, grant writing and a little marketing along the way as well. She provides
support for the safety training classes as needed, maintains the clients portal on CSC’s website, meets
with potential new clients and gathers information in order for CSC to customize a proposal for the
clients specific needs. She handles all reservations and travel for CSC employees as well as continuing
safety education classes. Other duties include client invoicing, overseeing payroll for CSC employees,
and various other administrative tasks as needed.
Pat has been with CSC for over three years as an onsite safety manager with zero recordable accidents
on assigned project sites (one of these projects was for Volvo in Charleston, SC). She comes with
expertise in training employees, safety orientations, meetings and audits, field inspections and
preparing work permits, and coaching on Safety issues and programming/operating equipment. Pat’s
training background includes OSHA Certifications 30 Hour, 45 Hour, and 300 Hour; Procore Certification-
Superintendent, and Procore Fundamentals Certification.
